The tortillas are softer than my auntie's hugs, and the meat? Tender, seasoned like it's been blessed by the flavor gods themselves. I bring all my out-of-town family here to prove I have good taste. We found a gem of an authentic Mexican joint. Juanito's Place on W ave I in Lancaster is legit. Don't let the location fool you. Most times when you search for basic plates like huevos rancheros most do not live up to it but at Juanito's they are just like my moms. They are served with home made refried beans, eggs cooked your way, tortillas and potato chunks. The salsas set it off, a mild green salsa and a very nice spicy red salsa. We also tried the chilaquiles, wow, they were amazing, perfect crisp tortillas, spicy authentic salsa, cheese. A must try. They have a huge menu with many Mexican favorites. They seating are is small but could hold about 30 , very tight space but clean and bright. The staff are very friendly don't hesitate to ask for special requests. I cannot wait to return when I am in town again.
Great place to get enchiladas the size of a small burrito! The sauce that accompanies the enchiladas melt in your mouth! The food here is authentic. Yes, authentic Mexican food! The staff is very nice. I love the vibe in the resturant. The horchatas are great!! The potions are large and you must order rice and beans.. Bring your family here for a full experience of excellence.
